Lava Ocean Adventures leaves nearly every day to show people the lava up close and personal as it enters the ocean near Kalapana. We have both taken this boat and the trip is absolutely amazing. You experience Madame Pele at her best. We highly recommend Lava Ocean Adventures for this excursion.

What a great excursion this must be. This is a great way to view the island , and hopefully get a chance to see some turtles and other avid sea life. I can imagine, this would be a great way to photograph parts of the island as well.
