Lava Ocean Adventures leaves nearly every day to show people the lava up close and personal as it enters the ocean near Kalapana. We have both taken this boat and the trip is absolutely amazing. You experience Madame Pele at her best. We highly recommend Lava Ocean Adventures for this excursion.

Earthquake swarm just part of new Kilauea activity
Lots of activity going on up at the summit and yes, the lava is flowing into the ocean as well. Some guests went to the end of the road last night and they said the lava viewing was great. For more on this story, please click the link. Aloha

Island Birthday
Today, November 6, 2010, is our three year island birthday. Wow how time has flown, seems just like yesterday we were unloading our crate and getting ready for our first guest to check in two days later. Island living has definitely been a learning experience and Todd and I can both honestly say that it's been an adventure of a lifetime. Here's to many more island birthdays!!
